The Institute for Human Rights is a nonprofit organization with ECOSOC status since 2021, committed to supporting human rights, as well as human rights defenders. We work through advocacy, media production, research, and partnerships with like-minded NGOs, addressing key human rights challenges worldwide. Our efforts also include promoting awareness of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, as well as international cooperation in the field of human rights.
Our Mission
The Institute for Human Rights (IHR) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting and safeguarding fundamental human rights while advocating for the protection of human rights defenders. Through organizing training sessions, providing assistance to international institutions in Geneva, as well as strategic advocacy, IHR works to empower marginalized communities and uphold democratic values.
